This Privacy Policy describes how TALNTD ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our mobile app, website (talntd.app), and related services.
2. Data we collect
Account information
- Name, email address, phone number, country, city
- Account role (customer, provider, business, employee)
- Profile photo (optional) and business name (for business accounts)
Identity verification (provider and business accounts only)
- Government-issued ID or passport number and image
- Selfie image taken at signup
Service activity
- Bookings, messages, reviews, and ratings you make on the platform
- Service listings, photos, and descriptions you publish (provider/business)
- Location data (city/country) to surface nearby providers — we do not track precise location continuously
Device and usage
- Device type, operating system, app version, and crash diagnostics
- Push notification tokens (so we can send you booking updates)
- Basic analytics about how you use the app, used to improve features

- To match customers with providers and businesses
- To process bookings, messages, and payments
- To verify the identity of providers and businesses
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and platform misuse
- To send transactional notifications (booking confirmed, message received, payment processed)

4. Who we share with
We share data only with:
- The other party of a booking — when you book, the provider sees the information needed to deliver the service (name, location, agreed details).
- Service providers we rely on — Firebase (Google Cloud) for hosting, authentication, and notifications; our payments processor for transactions; communication providers for SMS / email.
- Law enforcement — only when required by valid legal process.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for advertising.
5. Identity records (KYC)
Providers and businesses are required to upload a government-issued ID and a selfie at signup. These records are held on file for safety, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
- ID images and the extracted ID number are stored encrypted and accessible only to TALNTD support staff for legitimate review.
- The ID number is hashed and used to detect duplicate accounts, helping us keep removed providers off the platform.
- Customers are not required to upload identity documents.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by a regulated third-party payments provider. We do not store your full credit-card or bank-account numbers on our servers — only a tokenised reference is retained, held by the payments provider on our behalf.
7. Retention
We keep account and booking data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. KYC records may be retained longer for fraud-prevention purposes. You can request deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below).
8. Your rights
Under UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and similar laws across the GCC, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- Withdraw consent for non-essential processing
- Object to processing in specific circumstances
- Lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority

9. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, scoped access controls, and audit logging on sensitive operations. No system is 100% secure, but we work hard to make ours as close to that as possible.
